The Trust & Safety Festival is a global gathering designed to bring together the full ecosystem of professionals working to create a safer, more inclusive, and more resilient digital world.

Following the success of previous editions in Europe and Asia, the Festival is now coming to Sydney for the very first time. This two-day, multi-event program offers unparalleled opportunities for:

  • Industry networking
  • Build trust
  • Brand visibility
  • Enhance social impact
  • Thought leadership
  • Influence policy discussions
  • Cross-sector collaboration
  • Highlight corporate responsibility

Whether your organisation is advancing policy, building technology, or championing user rights, there’s a place for you here.

Program Themes

1. AI and Risk - Exploring governance approaches, platform responsibilities, and emerging safety tools, including age verification, watermarking and forensic analysis.

2. Scams and Financial Fraud - Examining Australia’s evolving regulatory landscape, shared-liability models, and growing industry engagement.

3. Cybersecurity and Data Stewardship - Navigating organisational data responsibilities, consent-centred victim frameworks, and best-practice collection and retention.

4. Misinformation, Disinformation, and Sextortion - Addressing the rise of AI-generated content and the complex challenges facing online businesses.

We seek to deliver a program that supports open discussion, drives cross-sector collaboration, and deepens engagement through purpose-built workshops.

Trust & Safety Festival is partnering with Cybersecurity Advisors Network (CyAN) and Corrs Chambers and Westgarth. Over two days, the Festival will feature keynotes, panels, and workshops spanning online safety, AI governance, privacy, cybersecurity, digitalrights, and societal impact. The Festival is deliberately cross-sector: academics, policymakers, technologists, NGOs, and community organisations all share the stage to drive practical solutions and collaborative approaches.

The Sydney edition is a unique opportunity for Australia to showcase leadership on trust, safety, and digital governance at a global level. It will highlight local expertise while connecting regional innovators, policymakers, and community leaders with leading voices from around the world. Whether your organisation is advancing policy, building technology, or championing userrights, the program is set to offer unparalleled opportunities
